TOUR REQUIREMENTS

Parking 

Parking is very limited in the beach area, we only have two spaces.

It is recommended to arrive any way other than car. As in Uber, walk, bike, or drop off.

If you must drive and park, please carpool with participating parties.

Parking is good through duration of tour but must be moved after tour is completed.

Suggested item to bring

Water, snacks, UV protection, ball cap, sunglasses, camera/phone

light jacket or sweatshirt.   

Special requirements

Must be 16 yrs old to ride

Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Ability /Skills
Riders must be confident in their ability to ride an e-bike.

Riders must be able to withstand several miles of riding.

Not recommended for riders who have not ridden a bike for 5 years.

Riders must be comfortable going approx. 18-20 mph.

Riders must be able to speak and understand English.

Riders who book a tour, and go through the safety pre ride check list and test ride but 

   cannot adequately operate the e-bike due to lack of ability/skill, will not be allowed   

   to take the tour and no refund will be given - be sure of your abilities ,

We will stop several times to enjoy the views .

Restrictions

Riders must be in good health and good physical shape.

Not recommended for riders with back problems.


Not recommended for riders with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

Not recommended for pregnant travelers.

Not recommended for travelers under 5'4 tall or over 6’5”


 due to the high performance of our e-bikes, they have weight limits.

Maximum weight for our e-bikes is 250 lbs.

Riders who book a tour but cannot adequately operate the e-bike due to any of these 

    conditions , will not be allowed to take the tour and no refunds will be given.

 AGAIN , Be sure of your self.

Safety
All riders MUST have close toe shoes during the ride.

No sandals, flip flops , wedge or high heals, or hey dude type shoes.

All riders must wear a  helmet during travel. 

   We can provide one or you can bring your own if you prefer.

No dresses, long skirts, wavy bell bottom pants or other loose clothing.

Long hair is recommend to be in a braided or hair tie ponytail.

Any riders who recklessly, carelessly, dangerously or neglectfully endangers the safety    

   of the other riders , the tour or the e-bike, will immediately be released from the tour,   

   the bike will be safely secured and the rider will be responsible for any travel from 

   incident area and no refunds will be given, any security deposit will  be forfeited and 

   a $100 pick up fee for the bike will be charged to riders account.

If any major damage is done to the bike through rider neglect , the rider will be liable for repairs and/or replacement .

If any further action is needed 911 services will be called.

Weather 

We do not and will not force rides in inclement weather, even though weather can change quick, if cancelling weather is predicted to/ or occurs at time of reservation, a decision is made on the day of (as weather predictions can sometimes be incorrect).

- If a tour has been cancelled (per our discretion), we will notify all reservations and give you the option to either re-book for another day or receive a full refund.

- If inclement weather occurs while on the tour, the tour guide will take the tour to the closet covered area along the tour and access the situation accordingly.

- If paused for no more than 15 minutes due to inclement weather, 

  the tour can continue based on the guides discretion.

- If inclement weather has stopped the tour for the duration, and under 50% of the tour has been completed, we can reschedule for another time but no refunds can be made.

- If over 50% of the tour has been completed and inclement weather stops the tour, 

  no rescheduling or refunds can be given.

If the tour can continue after the pause it will, if the tour is stopped, the bikes will be secured and travel will be provided for the riders back to start area.

Cancelations

Reservations may be canceled up to 72 hours without notice for a full refund.   Reservations may be rescheduled up to 36 hours, but no refunds. 

Cancelation of reservations under 24 hours or no shows on the day of event,

    will result in no refunds and your spot may be rebooked. 

Emergency cancelation situations may be resolved on a case by case basis with a simple phone call at 910-547-5117

Alcohol

Personal responsibility is expected if consuming alcohol.

E-Coast Cruisers accepts NO responsibilities for riders consumption behavior.

Riders are fully responsible for their riding abilities before and after any consumption.

The tour guide CAN make a decision to withhold any riders who appear to be to impaired to participate in tour, at time of check in and anytime during the tour.

NO REFUNDS for any rider who signs in or becomes to impaired to participate.

Emergencies

Our tour guides carry a basic first aid kit in case of minor emergencies for riders to access. ( band-aids, alcohol wipes, antiseptic) 

Our tour guides are trained to provide minor first aid assistance if needed,

Any and all major incidents or emergencies will be handled through 911 call for guidance of proper response teams for the best care and safety of the patient.
